Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and acrobat. The most famous of her role is Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. She considers herself to be the best musician of all. At the age of 9 of age, she began playing around with music. By the time she reached age 12, she had taken the music seriously enough that she began training professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she made her first album of cover songs. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic heritage. Her goal is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs and learning the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is a good example. Orrantia was picked to perform for the first season, which aired in summer the year 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of the X Factor following the submission of a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her the four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but during the "Hollywood week" she was paired together with three female singers into a trio for remaining auditions.
