Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She also coaches and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie was the first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from the age of five. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California and did well. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. Her performance was impressive in her initial games. She placed within the top 10 of 70 competitors. She was not able to win any awards and finished 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen helped her achieve an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit games and because of her outstanding performance she was able to win the contest as the very first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. Additionally, in 2014 Annie won a Silver Medal as well as, more recently, in 2021, she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has become a famous athlete after gaining recognition. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are shared.
