Taylor Momsen is an American model, actress and singer born in St. Louis Missouri. Taylor Momsen is an American singer-songwriter actor, model and model from St. Louis, Missouri. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey in the CW show Gossip Girl. The songs of Momsen have been featured in various films and TV shows, such as How to Be Solo Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. It is the Center of Creative Arts is where she learned dancing. At the age of three, she began her acting career professionally with a Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen had a career pause for more than three years, before being selected as the main character in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. Also at this time Momsen appeared in the 2006 film Saving Shiloh. Additionally, she auditioned to be the lead character in Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley was chosen to play the lead role.
