Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina in the following year. Her first appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. When she was students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she has also become a renowned director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
