David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. Most famous for his work is World News Tonight. Viewed by millions of viewers, David Muir's show is known for its gossipy celebrity videos and animated gestures. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before taking over the show. He was the anchor for numerous shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has traveled around the world to cover news that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. His awards include multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to distinctions from the Associated Press.
